The San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) will review with the Board of Directors consultant selection activities and/or consultant contract authorizations, renewals, amendments or extensions. Specifically, current activities for the following consultant services will be reviewed: Award of Professional Services associated with the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group Technical Engineering Consultant (Region L) (RFQ 360) The River Authority requested proposals from professional engineering firms to provide technical consulting services in support of the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group (SCTRWPG/Region L). The scope of work includes serving as the primary technical lead for development of the Regional Water Plan, completing all Texas Water Development Board contract requirements, supporting SCTRWPG meetings and committees, preparing required deliverables and maintaining the regional planning database. The River Authority issued a solicitation in June 2026 and received two (2) responses. Firms were evaluated using published criteria. Staff and the SCTRWPG recommends award to the most qualified firm Black & Veatch Corporation.
