The San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) has coordinated with the property owner regarding the donation of approximately 130 acres located at 8846 Fitzhugh Road, San Antonio, Texas. The property owner has agreed to donate the property to the River Authority. The donated tract is adjacent to Hendrick Arnold Park and will expand and enhance the River Authority's park inventory. The acquisition directly advances Strategic Plan Goal 1: to acquire strategic assets that increases the River Authority's ability to preserve and enhance creeks and rivers throughout the basin. The requested action authorizes the General Manager to negotiate, execute and amend all necessary documents to complete the donation.
