Discuss and Possibly Take Action to Establish a UIL Wrestling team Description: Discuss and take possible action to authorize the Superintendent and Athletic Department to establish a University Interscholastic League (UIL) sanctioned boys and girls wrestling program at Hamshire Fannett High School, beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year During the May Board meeting, a group of parents expressed interest in the District establishing a wrestling program at Hamshire-Fannett High School. Following that discussion, the Athletic Director and former Superintendent toured wrestling facilities and gathered additional information regarding the requirements and considerations associated with establishing a wrestling program. If we proceed with adding Wrestling to our athletics program, these are the suggested increases to the budget. Coaching stipend:  $2800 Equipment: $1500 Transportation:  $3000 Fees/Dues:  $3500 Facility Fee:  $200/month (4 months) = $800 Estimated Cost: $11,600 to add Wrestling
