A Public Hearing and Introductory Ordinance of the City of Laredo, Texas, authorizing the City Manager to amend the budget for the FY2026 Laredo Police HIDTA Task Force and the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) HIDTA Task Force by reducing revenues and expenditures in the amount of $194,769.00 in the 2026 award due to deobligation from the agency. Both grants are funded by the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) and High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA). Funding was authorized for personnel salaries, fringe benefits, overtime, travel, and operating expenses from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. Funding is available in the Financial Task Force Fund.
