9.L. Consideration and Action regarding Approval of a Resolution and Interlocal Agreement to Participate in the Central Texas Purchasing Alliance (CTPA) Purchasing Cooperative. Description: The Central Texas Purchasing Alliance (CTPA) is an interlocal purchasing cooperative created in accordance with Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code (Interlocal Cooperation Act) and Section 44.031 of the Texas Education Code. The CTPA allows Texas school districts to cooperatively share purchasing contracts, resources, and competitive procurement specifications to maximize buying power, realize economies of scale, and ensure strict compliance with Texas public procurement laws.  Participation allows Claude Independent School District to access competitively bid contracts hosted by other member school districts across Texas without incurring redundant administrative bidding costs.
