Consider Approval of Vendor for Fire Alarm Monitoring and Servicing Description: The District has received a one-year renewal agreement for districtwide fire alarm monitoring and servicing from Siemens Industry, Inc., the District’s current fire alarm systems provider. Due to the proprietary nature of the existing fire alarm equipment installed throughout the District, servicing and monitoring are not available from other vendors. Siemens Industry, Inc. is an approved vendor through the OMNIA cooperative purchasing agreement, Contract No. 2023003490. The proposed agreement includes the following: Districtwide Fire Alarm Monitoring and Servicing Agreement Annual testing, inspection, repair, and replacement services for fire alarm systems across all District facilities. Access to Siemens Building X Fire Manager and related applications, providing remote system management and customizable alarm notifications. Cost: $60,668 The cost of this agreement is included in the current amended budget.
