Discussion and possible action to accept a grant award and authorize Webb County to enter into a grant agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the Community Outdoor Outreach Program in the amount of $97,519.00, with no cash match, for a series of educational excursions held at several State Parks and Natural Areas, engaging youth from our community in outdoor cultural and natural activities. Additionally, to authorize the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documentation. This contract and agreement began on March 1, 2026, and will conclude on September 1, 2027. All required documents were reviewed by the Economic Development Department, and the solicitation is compliant with Webb County Single Point of Contact. Issue: Webb County submitted a COOP grant application to TPWD. Solution: Accept award and enter into an agreement. Result: Webb County is able to implement the project.
