Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Karen was nominated by a staff member due to her actions during a transitional period of time at the Library that was described as difficult.  The nomination states, " ...we have been without a Director for the past year.  Through it all we have remained a family and maintained excellent service to our community.  We would not have survived without Karen's dedication and leadership.  She has been our pilar of strength and our shoulder to cry on.  Her unwavering dedication to us (her staff), to the library itself, and to the community we serve..."<br data-pasted="true"><br>Karen's actions certainly exemplify the attributes of the Five Star Spirit Award: being Courteous, Competent, Reliable, Professional, and Enthusiastic. We congratulate her on being the recipient of the Five Star Spirit Award and thank her for her service to our citizens!
