AUTHORIZATION OF A FORCE MAIN ACCEPTANCE & MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT General Manager Shadden - Yes sir, this is a new Stuckey's out on I-10 and 1406. The latest is we required them to put a new 4” sewer force main in, and it was supposed to be SDR 26, which it was SDR 26, but the ASTM was not correct. So instead of 150 pounds of working pressure, it has about 60 pounds of working pressure. But the line is already in. It has been tested with 56 pounds, which is our normal water pressure. And this force main goes from the station and dumps into the manhole. So, it's not going to have any back pressure on it to where it'll have 80 or 90 pounds on it at any time. Looking at it with the engineers and stuff, we feel like even though it was put in with the wrong ASTM, that it would still function properly. And we also did an execution with Kate, that way, if the thing ever breaks or anything ever goes wrong, they will repair it and pay for it. Otherwise, they would have to relay. Secretary Hankamer ~ How long was one? General Manager Shadden - I would say 2600 feet, a four inch. Water Superintendent Mendoza - And in fact, we're not transferring over to existing residents on it. It'll just be a there's two there, a dedicated line. General Manager Shadden - So, that'll be there, as I said, it'll be a dedicated line. Directo
