Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

RENEWING TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES HEALTH & EMPLOYEE BENEFITS POOL FOR 2026- 2027 General Manager Shadden - Our actual insurance went up 7%. They actually lost money on this last year. We contributed $282,000.00 and our we drew $300,000.00 from it, so they actually lost money on us. But it's going up 7% this year. Director Woody - Seven or eight and a half? General Manager Shadden - It's about the same. Director Woody - It says eight and half right here at the bottom. General Manger Shadden - But then, like I said, that's full employment. Director Woody made a Motion to approve renewing the contract with Texas Association of Counties Health & Benefits Pool for 2026-2027 health insurance premiums. The motion was seconded by Secretary Hankamer, and it passed by unanimous vote.
