PURCHASE OF 3 REPLACEMENT PIECES OF EQUIPMENT IN DRAINAGE General Manager Shadden — I mentioned this again in our Budget Workshop. We needed to replace some equipment. The Caterpillar Trackhoe that was purchased in 2012, The Dozer D3 we have had a lot of problems with it, we did a track job on it about 3-4 years ago and needs one again, and the 308 Caterpillar we are replacing it with a PC130 which is a little bit larger machine than the 308. President Caraway — Roughly how many years does a piece of equipment like that last us? Amos Roy, General Forman — The 329 we have had for almost 15 years. President Caraway —- Okay, so 10-15 years on a piece of equipment. David Hoyt - About 10,000-11,000 hours. General Manager Shadden —I think in 2012 I bought 3 of them at one time because I bought them before they went to Def. These are in the Budget. President Caraway —- How much money are we spending? General Manager Shadden - $364,000.00 on the 329, $375,000.00 on the Dozer and $196,760.00 on the mid-sized excavator. 2 Director Nicely — Looking at all the work Amos and his crew has done over the last couple of years since I have been on the Board, we have definitely gotten our moneys worth out of this equipment. Director Nicely made a Motion to purchase three replacement pieces of equipment in drainage; Komatsu Trackhoe PC290LC-11, Komatsu Dozer D61PX-24 and Komatsu Trackhoe PC130LC-11. The motion was seconded by Director Rayburn and it passed by unanimous vote.
