AMENDING THE LEAD THRESHOLD FROM 8.0% TO LESS THAN 0.25% FOR PIPE AND FITTING IN SECTION II, LETTER D IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGREEMENT General Manager Shadden - When you sign up for service, in our Customer Service Agreement, no pipe fitting which contains more than 0.25% lead may be used to install or repair plumbing. We do not have any lead in our system at all. In Beaumont we had lead pipe, where you flared it like copper tubing. Director Nicely — But that is just on our side. General Manager Shadden — Well we had to dig it up at the meter and verify that the customer did not have led on their side either. Director Nicely - Oh, wow. General Manager Shadden ~ We had to verify all that. They started all this way back when Mike was here. The Water Planter Operators did this survey. Director Nicely made a Motion to approve amending the lead threshold from 8.0% to less than 0.25% for pipe and fittings in Section II, Letter d of the Customer Service Agreement. The motion was seconded by Director Rayburn, and it passed by unanimous vote. T. DRAINAGE REPORT: Amos Roy reported on Drainage. GORDY MARSH TRIB
