Discussion and possible action to authorize the General Manager to solicit competitive bids for the drilling and installation of a monitor well to be completed in the Carrizo Aquifer within GCGCD’s boundary that meets the technical and other requirements identified in the District’s monitoring well agreement referred to in Agenda Item 12 above, award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder who meets the bid requirements and has relevant experience drilling the type of water well required, and sign contract agreement with this lowest bidder, all in accordance with TWC 36.056 and 49.273 – Mr. Gershon gave a quick explanation of the process outlined in the Texas Water Code Sections 36 & 49 to solicit at least three bids. Motion to authorize the General Manager to solicit competitive bids for the drilling and installation of a monitor well and to authorize the general manager to award the bid in accordance with TWC Sections 36.056 and 49.273 by Jeff Schuehle. Second by Rebecca Clark. Motion passed.
