Consider/Approve Informational Materials and Related Resources for the Bond 2026 Program Presenter: Larry Guerra Description: Pursuant to Board Policy CH (Local), Purchasing Authority, the Board of Trustees may approve single budgeted expenditures that are expected to meet or exceed $200,000 as line items in the budget. The list of known expenditures for the informational items for Bond 2026 is submitted for approval. Background : Throughout the bond program process, the District will send informational items through various formats to inform and educate the community on the proposed bond election for 2026. To conform with procurement laws and to adhere to Board Policy CH (Local), we have compiled a list of purchases we expect will exceed $200,000. We have established an amount not to exceed $363,000 dollars to be paid out of the general fund, that will repaid with the Bond 2026 proceeds. The measure of this recommendation is to eliminate the need for future Board of Trustee approval for these purchases only during the 2026-2027 fiscal year. All purchases will be procured in accordance with Board Policies CH Legal and Local. Recommendation : It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the Board of Trustees approve informational materials and related resources for the Bond 2026 program as presented.
