Review and Discussion of Consultant Selection Activities and/or Consultant Contract Authorization, Renewals, Amendments or Extensions Including Award of Professional Services Associated With Brokerage Services for Cybersecurity Insurance (RFQ 338)

The San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) staff will review with the Board consultant selection activities and/or consultant contract authorizations, renewals, amendments or extensions. Specifically, current activities for the following consultant services will be reviewed: Award of Professional Services for Brokerage Services for Cybersecurity Insurance (RFQ 338) The River Authority requested proposals from professional insurance brokerage firms to provide cybersecurity insurance and consulting services. Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting computer systems, networks, data, and digital infrastructure from unauthorized access, attacks, damage, or theft. Cybersecurity covers protection against threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing, data breaches, and denial-of-service attacks. It also involves risk management, user education, and implementation of policies and controls to reduce vulnerabilities in both public and private sector environments. The River Authority issued a solicitation in September 2025 and received one (1) response. The firm was evaluated and staff is recommending an award to Alliant Insurance Services, Inc.
