The channelized stretch of the San Antonio River in downtown San Antonio is drained every two years to allow for the City of San Antonio and San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) staff to complete various instream operations and maintenance activities. This joint briefing from Public Affairs, Watershed and Park Operations and Environmental Sciences staff will cover the River Authority's activities for the draining that took place from January 12-19.
