Presenters will provide an overview of the San Antonio River Authority’s (River Authority) planned participation in Fiesta San Antonio 2026, highlighting key events, partnerships, and strategic opportunities for community engagement. Fiesta 2026, taking place April 16–26, 2026 is an 11‑day citywide celebration featuring more than 100 cultural events and drawing millions of attendees annually. The briefing will cover the River Authority’s involvement in four major areas: Fiesta Flotilla, which showcases river recreation and stewardship; participation in the Texas Cavaliers’ River Parade and Youth Art Contest, supporting youth education and visibility during a high‑profile event; engagement in the King William Parade, reinforcing neighborhood connections along the river; and collaboration with the Fiesta Commission on the “Litter is Ugly” anti‑litter campaign, promoting environmental responsibility throughout the festival. Presenters will explain how these efforts collectively enhance public awareness of river health, strengthen community partnerships, and elevate the River Authority’s presence during one of San Antonio’s most significant cultural traditions.
