Staff is presenting an update on the status of the drought and it’s impacts to the region.This update will also discuss the forecast for drought into the next six-nine months along with an explanation of El Nino weather pattern and the relief it may provide to the region. This presentation will also highlight the San Antonio River Authority’s (River Authority) efforts working with the state on long-range water planning and the forecasts for water needs in the River Authority’s four-county jurisdiction.
