Presentation and Discussion Regarding Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence Training

This presentation will cover the cybersecurity and artifical intelligence training required by Texas Government Code 2063.103 formally cited as 2054.5191. The San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) continues to monitor and implement strategies to offset security challenges related to information technology. Protecting information systems and the management of risk are considered fundamental to effective cybersecurity. As required, employees, identified by the River Authority, and elected or appointed officers shall complete at least once each year a cybersecurity training program certified by the State of Texas. To satisfy this requirement, staff is providing a presentation and training on cybersecurity awareness for the Board of Directors of the River Authority and will submit a training completion report to the Department of Information by August 31, 2026.
