Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

The Board of Directors of the San Antonio River Authority (River Authority) may declare that articles of personal property owned by the River Authority are not convenient to the business of the River Authority and are surplus; and authorize and direct the General Manager to dispose of said properties. Articles of personal property listed on Exhibit A attached to the Ordinance have been identified as being obsolete and not serviceable and are, therefore, surplus to the operational needs of the River Authority. The River Authority will proceed with the Disposal of Assets as outlined in the Capital Assets Policy FN0014. A preview of items will be scheduled at the Martinez II Wastewater Treatment Plant for donation eligible entities. Staff will again be using an online process to facilitate the sale of surplus property not claimed by other public entities within the district.
