H.3. Approve a Purchase in Excess of $50,000 for Two White Fleet Vehicles for Extracurricular and Co-Curricular Activities Description: In accordance with Board Policy CH(LOCAL), any single, budgeted purchase of goods or services that costs $50,000 or more, regardless of whether the goods or services are competitively purchased, shall require Board approval before a transaction may take place. Two aging white fleet vehicles are being recommended for replacement, including a 2014 Suburban and 2013 8-passenger van. The purchase of a 12 Passenger Van and Suburban for extracurricular and co-curricular activities would help ensure that our students and staff have safe and reliable transportation to competitions and events, and increase the capacity of those traveling by van. This purchase will be made using general funds via the Buyboard purchasing co-operative.
